Another Powder Measure...Heronsbill.

Heronsbill is what I call it anyway. I made two of them last nite and brought one to work with me to ponder over. The next ones will be open beaked with a morsel of food in the beak with a hole drilled for a cord or wire attachment. This one holds 50grs of 2ffg. It was a smallish antler point. First one I ever made out of antler which was very old, dry and chalky but extry cheap. The other first ever measure was the beef rib bone.

Wick, I took some round stock and hammered out some teeny tiny stirrups to put in their beaks to tie the thongs to.
