Pistol flask from the mid-19th century. In very good condition for its 160-ish years of age, with a small pinch at the bottom edge near the seam and an overall naturally aged patina. Valve works correctly and the spout is original to the flask.
This flask with a pheasant or bird design is not common, so my estimate of the value is based on just a handful of examples.
