I'm not completely sure what is it but you can surely have it for $450 new price $250 shipped
Trigger mechanism works properly, stock is broken, tail part is missing

Is the trigger/match holder under spring tension?

Or does the weight of the trigger cause the match holder to go up again?

AKA: Gravity.

Looks like a genuine Japanese Matchlock to me :thumb:
Make someone who fancies matchlocks a nice restoration project at a reasonable price.
 
That is a Toradar, with a broken butt stock.

A Toradar is a South Asian matchlock primarily found in the Mughal Empire, dating from the 16th century. It was a preferred firearm in India well until the mid-19th century because of its simple and cheap design.

Unfortunately they can also be bought quite cheaply too …
 
Can we see a picture of the muzzle please. I want to know if it was oritthis length or cut down. Thank you.
