I inherited a bunch of old antique type reloading equipment. These two RB molds are part of that. The larger mold is stamper .45 on the bottom. You see there are no spreu cutter plates. I guess you would cast the ball, then nip off the spreu.. The ball from the larger mold measures exactly .450. Would this be for cap & ball revolver?? The smaller mold, as best as I can measure with my dial calipers is .350. Also no spreu cutter plate. I have no idea when these date to. B

The larger one is "Mid-Century Modern";) The Hex Nut and electric arc welds give it away. The other may be old, or it may be about the same date as the other. .450 is possibly used in a revolver. The .350 ball would be a decent fit for a .38 cal rifle.

Thank you for your info. They were left to me with no explanations . I'm not up on these molds at all.
