I've come accrossed a couple of their rifles.Am i correct that they were top quality guns? Thanks

Those GRRW guns set the standard in their day. What versions did you find? Le Grand

The halfstock Lemans were one of the first guns that GRRW made. They could date back to the early '70s. The fullstock Lemans they made were a bit more authentic, in my opinion, but the halfstocks are still good. Let us know if you get them. Le Grand

I have two and have several friends that have one or two they were as good as you could get in their day. I have won many a match with a full stock Hawken .54 perc...stickwalker

Greetings Str8sh2ter,

I have two rifles built on 50 caliber GRRW barrels. These barrels are accurate as any barrel ever built. One of these rifles was used in June, 2006 to take 3rd place in the X-Stiks agg at the TMLRA State Champions.

Although I prefer a .500 size ball for 50 caliber barrels, these two barrels have a definate preference for the .495 size ball.

Best regards and good shooting,

John L. Hinnant

If you are not an NRA or NMLRA Member, why not? I am carrying your load.
