Willy Cochran made this lock in the mid-80's. It has served me well, and is in my opinion, after almost 40 years of use, a most excellent lock.

I have a rifle with a Cochran lock that a friend built back in the 80s. It has performed flawlessly for me.

I have two of the Chambers Late Ketland, and they are hard to beat and fast on ignition.

Have a new Chambers lock on a Kibler Colonial: it performs no better than my Cochran lock, and if it lasts 38 years like the Cochran has I will consider it to be equal....
