I heard late last year that Kibler might be offering a new kit. Just wondering if anyone else has heard that. Can’t confirm who or where I heard it from… :dunno:

He's working on a Woods Runner , High end Trade Rifle and a Hawken right now. and Is making plans for a Pistol, Lehigh and a Bucks County rifle.
He is also looking for people to go to work for him at his business.

Kibler says he is about 75% done with the design of the new rifle. A "Woodsrunner" rifle variation. Shorter LOP and a shorter barrel than the first two.. I got on the waiting list, but don't know when it will sell.

Its my understanding that the Woodsrunner rifle will be the next one to come to market.

Kibler has a small business to run. He probably has more orders for the existing kits than he can quickly fill plus trying to round up the raw materials for production. Not enough hours in the day. He may only be working on the new kit an hour a week. I'll just have to be patient.

Whatever happened to the fowler?
Probably first of next year would be my guess. He decided to go with the Woodsrunner first. Have to say, it was kind of a head scratcher. Unless he simply wasn’t set on style, design can r ram into complications, why produce such a similar product as the colonial than tap a different market with a tradegun, hawken, etc? Can’t wait to see what his fowler ends up being though

I saw the other day they’re getting into doing more quality control with their wood too. Doing some of this in house will certainly be beneficial to the business, but it’s going to require more work and time.

It seems he runs a heck of a business, and growth is difficult when so much attention to the fine details and new machinery is required. It is probably very difficult not to let momentum push you ahead of maintaining quality vs quantity. That said, I also am very eager to see what he will have. I wonder if he is planning an unveiling at this years open house? Seems like it would be good timing.

Any update on the Woodsrunner kit yet?
Be patient, Grasshopper. A small business has to take it a step at a time. I'm sure he's working on existing orders with his current offerings. It takes time to set up CNC, and test it. There are also new cutting tools he has to buy. He'll introduce it when it's ready for the market. His record shows he doesn't sell 2nd rate guns. I believe he is looking for help. I wish the job were closer.
