I live in the middle of the state of Michigan and my ocasional travels take me to northern Indiana, between South Bend to Auburn, Angola area. Any Decent size "cool" Traditional gun shops to check out ?
Any in southern Michigan? I am interested in Traditional Muzzeloader stuff only.

Might check with NMLRA website in Friendship.
The only place I can think of is The Log Cabin Sport Shop in Lodi, Ohio. They have a website and a great store. While there you can check out Mohican State Park.
Hope this helps.

You might check out the LaPorte County Historical Museum. They have one of the best collections of firearms that I have seen. The museum is open 10 to 4 Tuesday thru Saturday. The also have a collection of 34 antique and vintage cars. The rest of the museum is ho-hum.

I found out how good the gun collection is when a friend said that at the Louvre gun collection they had a listing of other great collections and the LaPorte Co. museum was on the list.

The museum is on Michigan Ave., the main NS highway. It is slightly south of town.

Fetla's in Valparaiso was very interesting when I lived there. I have not seen it in years, but they had all sorts of odd items -- modern and old. Tools, guns, military surplus... They only had T/C MLs at that time, but I did get one of those from them at a good price.

You might look their phone number up and give them a ring.
