Anybody have a Kibler with standard grade Maple stock?

I'd love to see a photo of one finished, if you do.

Unfortunately, that's how I ordered mine, as I was being a cheapskate back in the fall when I placed it. I guess I'll wet the stock when it gets here to see how much figure it has, and if it has none, or near none, stain it a little darker than I would have if it was well striped.

The plane or base stocks will have some figure. How you stain it can make a lot of difference on how well the curl shows. Look on his web site for more details.

If it hasn't gone into production yet you can still upgrade it if you want to. I did the same with my order for a fancy upgrade of maple. Just shoot Katherine an email.

For some reason the pics show up really dark, sorry about that, not really as dark as it shows?

A dark rifle on a light background confuses the camera. The background shade should be close to the subject shade.

Good looking gun stock. You would not know it was a standard grade piece of wood.
