I recently purchased two of these from an estate auction. I sold one of the kits earlier this afternoon and this sale is for the second and last kit. These were marketed in the 1990s by C.F. Schroeter for building a .43cal smoothbore wheel lock pistol of the Germanic Ball Butt or Pear Butt style. The kit contains instructions for building and maintaining this type of firearm. A pre-carved and inlet walnut stock, a octagon to round .43cal smoothbore barrel, ramrod, assorted hardware, and a complete assembled in the white wheel lock. The lock is set up to use welding striker flints but of course can use pyrites also. This kit is circa 1991. That is the date on the packing newspapers.
While this is not a complex kit it is probably best suited for someine who has built a few kits and has a understanding of this type of lock.
Asking $675 plus shipping anywhere in the CONUS. Payment by postal money order or personal check with time to clear
