Anyone ever heard of a builder named Marsh?

If I remember correctly, Jerry Marsh ran a gun shop up in Illinois and did a lot with muzzleloaders. He assembled Siler locks and I bought a lock from him around 1975 and it sparks as good today as it did 46 years ago. He passed a few years ago.

You're talking about Jared Marsh of Brookfield, IL. He passed away in 2012. Prior to that, he owned a gun store in Brookfield, IL and made muzzle loaders in his spare time, primarily for friends/family, not retail. He was a close relative of mine. I was just looking at one of his guns in my office this morning, as a matter of fact.
