Would like to hear from folks around my neck of the woods (Nassau County, Long Island) who'd be into hunting/range shooting muzzleloaders.
:peace:

It's hard to easily cross from Long Island but you are all welcome to come to South Central Connecticut and shoot as my guests at my small club. It's surrounded by state forest.

Let me know if you're interested in coming to a 2nd Sunday monthly shoot or just informally, or hunt sometime. (It's about 10 miles north of the CT Turnpike, 5+ miles west of the CT River). Don't be strangers if you want to get out of the city (or Island) and bang some balls! :blue:

I shoot at the hunninton range of RT 110 and still hunt with my flinters, can't waite for the 15 of OCT in PA early season. :redthumb:

I don't exactly understand what happened as the post I put in here yesterday has done gone and vanished. I am in Nassau also and live in the Rockville Centre area--just off the RVC golf course. I am a member of the Roslyn R&R and Freeport R&R clubs and shoot Bullseye pistol as well as ML's. Also have hunted the DEC properties upstate near Poughkeepsie. I sent you a PM ( private message) as well yesterday. If there's a blinking little flag on your header, just click on it. :front:

If any of you lads are interested the Roslyn club will be holding it's annual Turkey Shoot on Oct. 30.
All muzzleloaders are welcome.
Even though you'll have to travel to exit 71 on the LI Expressway I am sure you wil have a good time.
If you are interested contact me off line at [email protected] and I'll send you a flyer.

Geeze, I was there just last night shooting Squirrely (.32 Percussion). No wind and too humid for slowmatch. :(

Normally I shoot on the weekends although this time of the year it is usually nights (Monday preferred). Gotta work during the weekdays.

I don't hunt, but I do love showing how my old time girls fired. You can find pics of them at my site at http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Vault/1945/Guns/BP.htm

I hope we do meet up one day or night.
