Anyone from Northern Michigan

Do any shooting? anyone know of ANY clubs,groups or individuals that have woods walks or any such thing? I'm new to below the bridge(Northern Michigan)moved from the U.P. and can't be the only one here interested in traditional muzleloading/shooting. I see a bunch of groups and clubs down state but a three plus hour drive is a little more than i'd be interested in doing just to burn some powder :shocked2:

Check with the "Michigan State muzzle loading Assoc." Look for their shoot schedule on line. There is a directory there so you can contact the person responsible for a particular shoot. Most of those folks could tell you of clubs near you. Or you might find a shoot you like close. By the way how do you like being a Troll, as the uppers call we who live under Big Mac? I am quite a ways south of you , but might shoot in a shoot with you sometime. Good luck.

Hey ThunderBay. I see yer from Hillman. My daughter has a cabin up by Rush Lake. We use to ride the trails (4 wheelers) in that area. I had a cabin in Houghton Lake but have since moved to Ohio (Cincy area). I'm not aware of any local M/L clubs in that area. I believe there is one near Manistee but that's still a drive from Hillman. Good luck.

LOL..... I like being a troll just fine. I spent my entire life as a Yooper so am well aware of the "lingo" troll,apple knocker,flat lander are all official names for you's ahhhhh er me :grin:

Been by Rush lake many times :grin: this is a great area just wish i had someone to shoot with.... I went to the Michigan state muzzleloading association but can't find any links to shoots. really couldn't find much info on anything at all.... Maybe i have the wrong link? anyone got a direct link fer me?
