Anyone have a Navy Arms 1855 horse pistol?

The one made from the Remington Zouave musket? Had a chance to pick one up today but held off. (Might have a chance at it, again, later on.) Sure seemed like more than a handful - the large grip, that is. Sights weren't the best in the world. How are these to actually shoot? More novelty than practical?

Anyone know what max powder charge would be with round ball? Houston Gun Collectors used that piece on their logo and always I wondered if it would make a deer pistol.
