Anyone heard of a "Dalaney"?

I posted this in the gen ML section also, but,
Have come across a muzzle loader from a contact that is for sale. have not seen it, so details are vaque. The only markings on this gun IS
"Dalaney" marked on the barrel. spelling might be different, dont know the caliber or lock style.
He is a police detective/spec teams member and knows guns. The only thing he could tell me was DALANEY.
Any info here?

There's a "famous" Delaney (and two sons), London, early 1700's, another 1846-48, probably others. Robin?
