I'm hoping for some feed back on these wads if anyone has ever used them.

Cirrcle fly wads

I use Circle Fly OS cards for .28, .20, and .12ga smoothbores...Circel Fly is pretty much up at the top of their industry...if they're not not the top dog I don't know who is

Circle Fly wads are all i use in my smoothbores. Overpowder, fiber cushion, and overshot. Never had any complaints about them.

Thank you. I'm looking for my .62 cal smoothbore and my side by side 12 ga. Pedersoli. The side by side has chokes so I'm wondering how I'm going to load 12 ga. wads in. :hmm:

My .12 is cylinder bore so it's not a problem.
I've heard where some folks temporarily remove choke tubes, insert the wads, then reinstall the tubes.
Or with fixed chokes, some use Oxyoke wads so they can be curved/cup shaped to be inserted past the choke then allowed to spring back out flat down in the full cylinder size bore.

I do not know first hand though...

My double barrel .12 ga has cyl. bores too, but i have heard that if you turn the wads sideways before trying to get it through the choke they load ok. The flat end on the tip of the rod is supposed to straighten them back out in the bore. They work fine in my .20 ga smoothbore but i do use a .19 ga overshot wad to get a good tight fit.

I've heard and read the same thing. Its those thick fiber wads that I think wont' fit with the full choke.

You can experiment using various sizes of lightly crumpled up newspaper and once inserted past the bore, it can be tamped down and packed over the powder and can provide a type of cushioning wad without having to remove the choke.
I've also tried combinations of triple sized cotton balls with newspaper too, but I guess trying this may depend on whether you are shooting shot loads or not and how much space you want to risk having over the powder.
I then used smaller amounts of more lightly tamped newspaper or cotton over the shot load. Cotton can smolder a little bit though.

circle fly is what I use in my pedersoli an I got no complaints I especialy like the cushion wad its about 1/2 inch thick and it will hold a lot of lube.

Felt cushion wads are usually what is recommended for choked muzzleloaders. I too use maily Circle Fly wads in my smoothbores.
