Just wondering if there is any muzzleloading events planned for Wisconsin in 2007?? I know we have a State Muzzleloading Assoc., but can not find their web site???

I don't believe they have a web site.

I, too, live in Wisconsin. I wish they had some on-line info. I have an old issue of the WMLA and if I have a weekend free, I'll browse for a shoot around that time, and call the contact for the exact date & time.

I am probably going to join. I'm getting back into the sport, and having currect info will be nice.

If you want info to join, lemme know.

In this day and age, a State assoc that does not have a web page must be kind of backward. If you find a address where I can contact them I'd be interested. Since they have no web site, wonder what they do besides collect dues?? Anyone with current info please jump in here.

Rat Trapper,

I agree that any club that wants to promote itself should have a web site. :youcrazy:

They do put out a booklet (I think 4x per year) that has ads for local BP businesses, club shoots, contest results, and a postal shoot.

The address that I have in the Spring 2006 edition for membership is:

Duane Decker
220 E. Benson Street, Unit F
Glenbeulah, WI 53023

Membership is $20.00 per year.

Hope this helps.

You have a national organization you can contact for simple information like this!

Go to the NMLRA website.

Scroll down and click Shooting Opprotunities

Scroll down to Charter Clubs.

Chose your state.

There are 6 charter clubs in Wis. all have contact numbers listed

Go back to the menu and select Field Rep. Your state has one of those too. He can assist you in finding a club.

The Regional Midwestern Rondy will also be held in Wis This year.

The Midwest National Rendezvous will be held at Bloody Lake this year.

I lived in Wisconsin near Madison for three years. The only clubs that I ever found that shot regular was Beloit and Rock Run in Rockford Illinois. I always figured that the rest of the buckskinners only got their guns out two or three times a year to shoot blanks.
