Just south of Rye, AZ
Mazatzal Mountain Muzzleloaders host their 18th Annual Rendezvous.
All matches are round ball or shot only; open sights only; no scopes, peeps or spotters. 25, 50 & 100 yard paper punch; silhouette trail walk, pistol shoot, smoothbore match, mountainman run, hawk & knife throw, squirrel shoot, shotgun match, and events for juniors.
Wed (9 Nov) early setup
Thurs (10 Nov) ranges open 1pm to 4pm
Fri (11 Nov) ranges open 10am to 4pm
Sat (12 Nov) ranges open 9am to 5pm; group dinner 5:30
Sun (13 Nov) Awards presentation 10am, ranges open til 1pm
Mon (14 Nov) departure
All camps are dry camps. Family registration $30; $20 for singles; registration price includes dinner on Saturday.
From Mesa, take Hwy 87 north for 62 miles to mile maker 239 1/4 which is just south of Rye Creek, look for signs then turn east before crossing bridge.
From Payson, take Hwy 87 souith for 15 miles then follow directions as above.
