Does anybody know any information on this company? I have a Navy Arm 12 ga. Magnum Deluxe Double barrel, and I am wanting to do some research on it.

Good luck! I have a navy arms 12 gauge i bought at a gun show. Used, no paperwork. I spent weeks trying to get an owners manual, or even just some basic load info. I wrote Navy Arms and they don't even acknowledge that they ever sold such a thing. I finally gave up and used the load suggestions in the back of my DGW catalog. I'm going to make this a favorite so i can check on it, and i hope you have better luck than I did.

Thats strange, i had a Navy Arms double barrel .12 ga and contacted them and they sent me an owners manual and i got spare parts for the locks from them for it too.

I have to admit, i looked on their website, and not seeing anything on the shotgun, I sent them an email about it. I got the reply from them that I would have to contact Pietta to get any info. Pietta, being an Italian company, had a less than accessable website. I wrote them too, but got no response.
I didn't call or write Navy Arms via snail mail. If one of those worked for you, I'll have to give it a try.

Sorry bout the double post, but I forgot to ask if you had dealt with them recently. Mine was last year.

I called Navy Arms today, it seems that the first owner (dad) passed away recently and they had too closed one office. The son is running another office and they are tring to help me with information. I was told that the dad would purchase short run qty's of guns and did not keep very good records. Wish me luck on my quest.

It has been about 4-5 years since i talked with them on the phone and ordered the extra parts. The gun i had was one that had been discontinued called the Fowler model. Cyl. bore barrels that were 28" long.

Before I type all of the stuff the "Blue Book of Modern Black Powder Values" says about the history of the company I need to ask, are you looking for the history or are you looking for a way to contact them?
The Blue book has some of their history which will take a lot of typing.
The Blue Book also says:

PIETTA, F.lli s.n.c.

This was printed in 2003 and it may not be the latest information.

Again, good luck Whitetail. If you get some good word, let us know. I'll be watching. If, and when you succeed, i'll have to try and get some info on mine, too. Now you've got me all motivated to give it another try myself!
Rebel, I don't know exactly which model i have, but i will say it's one of my favorite guns to shoot. Light and handles like a dream. It looks like it was a kit that someone put together. I stripped it down, redid the stock and browned the barrel. Looks great, shoots great!

Thank you for your posting and weblink, I should be able to find some information on my gun.

Zonie - The 2007 edition (5th) provides no more information; in fact, there's less, the address and web site link are gone.

The web site is inoperative, with a statement that they will "indeed" be up "very soon", which has been there for several months.

Pietta will not respond to individual owner emails or snail mails. They will deal only with distributors. The best bet is to go through Navy Arms, or whoever the distributor was if you know.

I just got off the phone with Navy Arms, they have little information. These guns were sold between 1988 - 1989 and the bore sizes were all over the board, they hired college students to measure each gun and record the results but these results have long been lost. they suggested to contact Pietta direct.
