SOLD Armi San Marco Colt Walker

Too many guns, too little time... This ASM Walker has a 1968 proof date. It had evidence of having been fired when I acquired it but it is very clean and appears almost new. Bluing and case colors are practically 100 percent. The grip has some small dings/handling marks. The action and lockup are tight and the bore is clean and shiny. I thoroughly cleaned and polished all internal parts but the action does want to snag once in awhile just as the hammer is being cocked. I just don't feel like tearing it down again, so I'm selling for a little less than comparable ASM Walkers have been selling for on Gunbroker, typically between $400 and $450 plus shipping.

Hi Folks. New/corrected information!

• I took apart the gun, cleaned it again, polished it again, and fixed the little snagging problem with the hammer. (It was just a high edge on the cam on the hammer that engages the bolt.) Everything functions as it should. Soooooo, I plan to hold out for $400, shipped. That way my time will have been worth a little less than minimum wage. (But it's a hobby, so I'm not complaining.)
• I had intended to ship only by UPS but my fingers slipped when I wrote the OP. I can ship UPS insured and they will honor it. USPS will not because of their own policy. Unlike ATF, USPS doesn't make a distinction between modern and "antique" firearms. (Look for previous posts on MF to read what others discovered.) But, if someone wants, I can ship USPS. Just know that you have no recourse if the postal service loses or damages it.
