Hi All,

I picked up an Armi Sport Kentuckian in .45cal sans the lock :shocked2: , Does anyone know where I might find a replacement?

Thanks

Muzzleoader Builders Supply at www.muzzleloadrebuildersupply.com or Track of The Wolf at www.trackofthewolf.com would be good places to start looking. You can also look at Dixie Gun Works at www.dixiegunworks.com. If you can do a little fitting, trimming and adjusting to your stock, I am sure you will find a lock at one of these places that you can fit into your stock. You may even luck out and find one that is a drop in replacement.

Dixie Gun Works marketed that gun for many years and might have a lock. Track of the Wolf has full size photos in their catalog. You can do a tracing of the lock recess and overlay it on the catalog to see what fits. Or just give them a call and ask, they're pretty knowledgeable folks and might be able to fix you up.
Good luck!

In addition to the above L&R may have a repalcement lock for this gun, they are nice shooting little guns. I had a pair in .44cal a flint and a caplock, the lock on the flinter needed a lot of help but it shot well once I got it to fire.

try here, directly by the customer service of Armi Sport Chiappa : http://www.armisport.com/eng/assistenza.htm

3 or 4 years ago I was looking for a new barrel with slower twist for my Army Sport "Kentucky", which is 1/32 of cal..44. They didn't have at the moment but recorded my question about that barrel. After 2 years (!) some girl did write me a message - now they have barrels like i wanted and can send me one of them.
