That's great work!

I particularly like the "notches" around the edges of your loading block. I always manage to get a little lube on mine, and they turn slick quick. Add a little cold weather, numb fingers and gloves, and they can get tricky to handle. You solved it, I think.

Thankyou all! The notches do give a bit better hold, they grip your fingers as well as you grip them! The horns didn't take too much to make, no lathe so all I has was simple hand tools like a rasp and a knife and a vice.

Some fine looking work. You remind me, I need to make a new loading block. Lost mine hunting squirrel last week. Now some "tree bear" has a nice loading block dangnabit!
