Recommendations for an "As Issue Revolver and a "Kentucky Pistol"?

I am slowly building my pistol inventory for paper shooting and I am down to needing an "As Issue Revolver" and a "Kentucky Pistol"

Recommendations please.

Thanks

I have been very happy with the Traditions Kentucky kit that I purchased and built. It allowed me to put a few personal touches on it. Very accurate too!

It was explained to me by Jim/OH: "As issue revolver is a revolver that is either an original from the civil war period or a faithful copy of one. That means non-adjustable sights, no fancy grips, no trigger stops, sight configeration similar to the period, i.e.. a Ruger will not qualify as an as issue (adjustable sights).

As far as revolvers go, now reading what your definition is, I have a Uberti Walker. Everything I have seen they seem to be very faithful reproductions of the original right down to the loading lever falling at full load firing.

Thanks, I will take a look at them, unfortunatley, it have to be in a catalog.

Where I live, there is a shortage of places to see things hands on.

Thanks
