Brett Sr., just wanted to let you know what I have accomplished to this point regarding my questions to you on card weaving. I found a lot of info on inkle weaving during my research and got sidetracked into that (I had a lot of wood in my shop). Below is where I am to this point on my first simple band. I took a pattern I found, cut it down to make it narrower, but still wound up with a fairly wide one (50 threads). I am still warping it and in the picture, am a little over half way done. I will update you when I get it about done. Thanks for your help in getting started.

Well now...
we just gotta get ya on track for this card weaving stuff!

Glad its going well for you dean.

So I am to assume that you built that inkle loom???
...Nice job!

Yeah, I built the loom from scraps in the shop. Don't look too close at it; it took a couple of hours to make it, not counting glue dry and finish dry times. I somehow got interested in it over card weaving, but don't ask me why. Let me try this for awhile and I might try card weaving later.

Hi Rick,

He's not lost yet! just hasnt got board with the inkle loom yet. Deano will see light and come over to the "other side" just as most of us did with the guns and our migration to the "dark side"!
...but hey!, he's doing it, one form or the other! good on him!
