Finding humor where I can. Saw an online auction that listed this: "Joseph Gulcher Black Powder Muzzle loader measuring .53mm on our micrometer with a single round capacity and a 39.5" octagonal barrel". I wrote to confirm the specs. The reply: "I will ask the catalog department. I believe the .53mm is what the bore measured." LOL.

I bought a Zoli barrel clearly marked 20 cal online. Yes, 20 guage is what I got. I believe it will fit a Zoli Buffalo hunter. It is smoothbore if anyone wants it. Maybe make a good pistol barrel.

I have a ‘budget’ version blunderbuss (picked it up in an estate lot purchase) made by Mendi. 13-1/2” barrel (including the bell), percussion, grade 2 pallet wood stock, ‘24 Cal’ stamped on the barrel whatever that means. It measures close to 26 gauge, with a bore just over .56” diameter.
