Hey! If I can help them out by buying a liquidation rifle I might. I have plenty of rifles but would not mind owning one of theirs.

With all the gunsmiths out here I would not worry about repair problems I might have.

Odd. the latest issue of MuzzleBlasts has an article on a new {inline (ugh!)} shotgun that A&H was supposed to be coming out with. Maybe they thougfht that would save them--or maybe they are transitioning to a different product line.

I don't believe that's that case...they are closed, emploees gone, etc...and that's too bad for ML in general...plus, I think CVA went out of business last year.

People can say what they might about companies who make mass produced MLs, but if the general public knows anything at all about traditionally oriented MLs, they at least know about them through mass produced products from companies like TC, CVA, A&H, etc...they don't know about them through custom builds...and if a company like TC also stops making the Hawken and Renegade, who's left to market a good quality mass produced ML...think it would be an unfortunate and significant blow to muzzleloading in general

roundball,
I'm wondering if maybe the market for
traditional, at least at the present time, is not full. Some of the biggest people in the
traditional aspect are either getting to old or
no longer with us. Most new B/P folks are not
going to put out what it takes for a custom B/P
gun.(I wouldn't). IMHO Knight and state DNR's by
opening up traditional gun seasons to in-lnes
have really hurt traditional sales of our M/L.
My own personal opinion is once the
in-line folks have bled the market dry is that
our guns will come back. Just hope someone will be there to make them.

All CVA gave up was their sidelocks-entities. Their (BPI-ownership) inline business I believe is #1 in combined models sales - due to attractive pricing.

Doesn't "attractive pricing" really translate into "cheap product"?
