I’ve owned this rifle for about 15 years. The Rifle is absolutely gorgeous!! Never have I seen such a beautiful stock on one of these? The Rifle has been sitting in one of my safe’s for about the last 8 years. Taken it out every 3 months for a quarterly check like I do on all my guns.

Back when I bought this rifle it had a dark shellack coating stain that definitely subdued the beautiful figured curly maple underneath. I stripped it and refinished the stock myself. Definitely a diamond in the rough! Pictures don’t do this rifle justice.

The bore is immaculate! Mirror Bright. 1:66 twist for round ball.

The Lock is also extremely well built with a strong mainspring. Very good quality!

The triggers are also fine tuned double lever, double set. Can be set then cocked or cocked then set in any sequence.

Back when I used to shoot this muzzleloader it had 100% ignition each and every time! Extremely reliable and a solid built muzzleloader.

Wood to metal transition is very good. No gaps or spaces. No rust! Extremely clean.

I’m only parting with this fine muzzleloader because I’m funding another project and trying to thin down the herd as well? This one hasn’t seen sunshine for quite some time.

Lastly, I’m letting this muzzleloader go for only $560 shipped to your door in the lower 48.

Hard to get rid of but I can’t keep everything? To the new owner, “You won’t be disappointed!!”

Respectfully, Cowboy

Barrel length and weight. Beautiful rifle!

Forgot to ask above... early model or a later Utah version? Thanks again

Cowboy, that is a great looking rifle. I’m just not in the market for one at this time. I would like to say I have bought a rifle from Cowboy before and I can vouch for him. If he says you won’t be disappointed you won’t be.

Thank you Stan. Appreciate the compliment my friend.

I normally don’t comment on for sale items unless it’s to buy them but that is a really beautiful rifle! I sorely wish I could buy it! Good luck with the sale and congrats to whoever gets it!

Some say the Missouri made earlier versions are better as far as quality? I’ve personally handled several and to be honest? The barrel and parts all came from the same supplier. Only difference is the address stamping’s on the barrel.

Lastly, it all boils down to detailed assembly and care taken to produce a nice rifle. Couldn’t and won’t comment on one being superior over the other? Again, I’ve handled several and in my personal opinion one does not stand out significantly over the other or vise versa.

Respectfully, Cowboy
