Hi Gent`s,

i am back from a short Muzzleloader meeting in Wershofen / Eifel / Germany from Thursday Sep. 17 till Sunday Sep 20. Meeting ground located around 100 km south of Cologne.
The Weather was not as good, partially heavy rains and stormy over the day. pictures are taken in time without rain and storm....
it was not a period correct meeting.Especially the members from the Netherlands prefers their modern Tipis and Mobile Homes or Caravans.
Due to this reason i could not avoid to image this modern facts on my pictures.
And unfortunately ifound place at the outerlines opposide to the car park ground only.
But anyway hope you enjoy the pics

Looks like a mighty fine time too me. Too bad about all the rain. Do you guys do alot of shooting at these events. I really like that above ground fire pit you got there ,looks like it used to be an old stove or something, very cool,

Wow that looks like a great event! Thanks for sharing your pictures. Tell me about your shoes, are they wooden clogs? I like your fire pit as well. Thanks again!

Great pictures! I also like your fire pit. The bread looked good too. Beautiful country.

Darn I could smell the bacon in your breakfast picture. Looks like a large gathering.

I wondered about reenactments in Europe
Thanks so much for the pictures.

Hello All,

sorry for my late reply
thx for your comments :hatsoff:

the Dog is not mine he was from a neighbor
its a wirehair dachshund and the neighbor he has just two of this troughers....

the Firepit is the bottom of a terrace oven

i bought it at ebay as a second rate quality for 18 Euros ( normal price are around 70 Euros)
the upper part to the roof was missing but anyway i need the pit only

the Meetings here are similar like yours but the whole lack are that we have not she shooting ranges /opportunitys like yours. All shooting have to be done in a close shooting range. We habe no possibility to make a woodwalk or shoot behind the house. :td:

regards from Germany

Klaus

Wie Gehts Klaus,

I was stationed in Hohenfels in the early 90s and we had a club in Grafenwohr, "The Northern Bavarian Renegade Rifles". We had monthly shoots and 2 rendezvous each year. Good time with German and American friends.

Schuss,
Chris Strauss
