Surfing the net trying to find a black powder fix I found this gentlemans site. He has a lot of good reading on there. I highly recommend taking a look.

Out a huntin,
For a guy that is supposed to be defending me against Osama and his like, you sure get to surf a lot. Things have changed since I was in the Air Force. War must be easy today. Why, back in my day, our fatigues were green! Our planes were green, green, tan and white. F-4C's and D's were the rage and did the job but us WCS troops had to work hard to keep them flying. You just sit back and surf the net all day......Thanks for doing a nasty, dirty job that I am no longer able to handle. :master:

Do you know when you get to come home, yet?

(By the time I retired, F-16C-D's were IT! Always worked fighters)

I was wondering when someone would give me a hard time for being on the net. Technology sure is great, isn't it? Trust me, this is still a war zone even though we have computers. We do get some time off you know :winking:

Rather see ya on the net than getting drunk, high or gambling. The past times of wars gone by.

Just :m2c:

Thanks for sharing that info with us. I share your high opinion of his site.

Bob was the original owner of the Muzzle Loader Mailing List (http://members.aol.com/illinewek/) and has done a lot to help people learn a wealth of ML related info. I enjoy his writings and learned a lot from him and Bill White (also of the MLML) about shooting flintlock smoothbores. Be careful as those two were responsible for my current addiction to these wonderful and frustrating devices. I hope to get a deer and a turkey with a flintlock smoothbore this year.

I see that you are due home in time to do the same, so I hope that you have good hunting here as well.

Thank you for your services. Our prayers are with you.

YMHS,
