Attempting to restore a rifle built by Isaac Hall in 1840. Much work to do, including finding a mainspring for the back action lock.
Any ideas? Or anyone willing to make one for me?
I've found a trigger guard very close to the original; most other parts are reuseable. Will have to make a new curly maple stock.

BBL is a 46" x 1.125" straight octagon, appears to be about .45 caliber, nicely rifled.
