Got to try out the .62 smoothbore barrel on the Renagade hunter yesterday.Used up some RS pyrodex at 25 yards just to see how it would do with ball and also shot.The .600 balls worked pretty well tho it needs a thin patch to load.Was hitting close to POA at that range with 70g of powder.After 16 rounds I shifted to shot and just burned powder and shot banging at a clanger for fun and practice.Upped the shot load to 80g with that volume of #8 shot.Had fun and made a lot of holes.... :grin:
Will try it again at 50 yards and using Goex powder to see how that does.

Gotta love Cain's :hatsoff:. I just dropped off a TVM Southern Rifle kit with Ed yesterday. He said it should be done in about 6 weeks
