Bacon & Co Pistol

Hello!

Looking for some possible information on my recent purchase! It's a Bacon & Co Pistol. Serial number is 60.

I wasn't sure on how rare these piece is if it is at all and possibly how many where made.

I think they are are rare in excellent condition. These were way cheaper than a colt or Remington six shooter, and used hard. Good for the poor farmers pocket, or his wife’s apron pocket. I fellow had a big collection of these at a gun show years ago, with the sign, “ I brought home the Bacon!”
