Bag Mold

I'm trying to find a bag mold for my .62 cal. fowler. I've checked Dixie, Track of the Wolf and Rapine. No one seems to be making that caliber, or am I just not looking hard enough? Anyone got any ideas? ::

Go to page 2 in this section (Shooting Accessories) and open the post "bag molds" by the Dread Wechlo. It shows an inexpensive alternative to getting a bag mold, and can be had in any size ball.

I have a .600 caliber bag mold that I got from Rapine for my .62c smoothbore. Just what size diameter mold are you looking for?

 

Last I heard, Cannon Mike still had a gang mould or two laying around in .600. The roudies work great in my NSW .62, and the buckshot is devasting. It's also much, much smaller than it looks.

Many thanks my friend. I owe ya'. Cannon Mike's gang mould is exactly what I'm looking for. I just didn't know it. Truth be told, I'd never heard of a gang mould. Guess that comes from never shooting a smoothbore. I've always shot rifles. My TVM fowler will be my first.

just be sure to ask Mike about his cannons, too...lol...he likes building cannons a lot more than those moulds, so, make him happy...they are pretty cool anyway. He just did a swivel gun for Fort Union.
