My first Baldric. 1 1/2" wide of 8/9 0z. vege-tan. Sewn with 6 ply linen thread. Buckle is hand made from 3/16" brass sheet, and has a triangular iron tongue, per "Sketch Book '76", and some originals I've seen. The leather was left natural and finished with oil. As mentioned, this is my first, so critiques and or suggestions are welcomed.

The buckle? Yeah, I know what you mean't. I would like it myself, but it's too rich for my wallet. :(

Thankyou Cynthia, and everyone else for your kind comments. Acually I thought the buckle was just a bit large in width for the strap, and made a replacement. Same exact design, but slightly smaller with a better fit to the strap. The larger buckle also allowed the left over strap to shift around, but the new one prevents all but a tiny amount of shifting. Maybe I can use the larger one on another project.
