I had some scraps of deer hide in the tote, one with a big bullet hole in it. In this experiment I've made a simple drawstring ball bag for .54 Cal roundballs that utilizes the bullet hole. Simply tip the bag and pinch the bullet out. Works great.

Cool idea, another idea I thought would be good is to sew a flap on the side of the ball bag and put patches in it. :hmm:

I like Pitchy's idea of a ball bag with attached patch pouch too. :thumbsup:
 
I do too. I'm going to try something like that in the next project. I'm always mislaying my ticking. Next thing you know, my little bag will turn into a small possibles bag :grin:
 
My thought was if ya had the patches on the ball bag you could hang it around your neck and have everything right there. Kinda better than a loading block as you could carry more balls.
