barrel and lock swap

I'm considering changing my percussion GPR to flint. The barrels on Lymans' web site seem priced right as well as their replacement flintlocks. I've read some shooters have replaced their Lyman flintlock with another brand. Anyone with any experience out there on this? Help would be appreciated.

Lymans locks are not interchangeable. I emailed them asking about it because I wanted to try the same thing.

The L&R locks are a PIA to install.

Don't have any experience with these specific locks, but L & R has an "RPL" line of locks available and, if I remember right, they have one to replace the GPR lock. Just checked Track of the Wolf and they have them in stock. Good luck.
