Tired of looking at the all the BP warning junk on the side of my T/C Hawken 54 cal. So I draw filed it off and smoothed it out with 220 grit emery. Browned it with LMF Brown and Degreaser. Applied it in my bathroom with a tub of hot water. If you follow the directions to the tee it will come out awesome. About every hour I would run the shower till it steamed up the room, really improved the humidity which is critical. If I knew how to load a photo I would.

LMF is easy to work with and gives great results. I've used Mark Lee Browining and it also gives excellent results but you have to be more careful in the application.

Hi,
I have just finished a 42" .75 cal. Jaeger barrel using Mark Lee browning.
All I can say is GREAT stuff!
I have used Laurel Mountain for years, and it has been very good. But after using the Mark Lee browning solution, I am hooked.
My next order to Track of the Wolf will be for a few bottles to make sure that I have enough.
I just heated the barrel and parts with a propane torch and then applied the Mark Lee solution, let the pieces cool and set for three hours, gently scrubbed with fine steel wool, re-browned again as first mentioned.
I did this method four times and the browning was uniform and complete.
I hope this helps.
Fred
