Hello I just recieved a 62cal drop in barrel for
my renegade. Now here is my problem barrel will hook right
into breech but the piece on the bottom that the wedge pin
is suppose to go through doesnt sit low enough for the wedge
to fit through when I push it just wants to go under! Also
on the side under nipple hole there is another hole on the
side looks to be threaded but there is no screw any help
will be appreciated I am very frustrated I plan on calling
green mountain monday but am hoping some of you guys might
be able to help thanks :curse:

Sounds as tho the "clean-out" screw is miss'n!! (sorry I don't know what size the hole is, but it's probably a "standard" thread)

Have you tried loose'n the tang bolt to see if the barrel will seat properly and let you insert the wedge-key??.... if it does, go back and "snug up" the tang bolt and she should be ready to fire once the "clean-out" screw is in place.

the bar under the barrel that the ramrod slides over was longer than on the original sanded nose of stock down a little and now fits thanks for your reply :peace:

You may have a "gap" when you go back to the factory barrel since you sanded the stock's nose a little...

The hole you described is a clean out hole, does your Renegade's factory barrel have one too?

:hmm: Wonder if they're interchangeable... :hmm:
