I think I would go with a Rice A wt barrel. Light and sweet.
There are, however, a coupla new barrel makers from KY that are supposed to be every bit as good as Rice. They might have something similar to the A wt barrel.

I used a Rice A weight in .36 cal. 42" for my Gillespie rifle. I think the weight is just about right for carry in the woods. I was afraid the B weight might be a bit heavy to carry all day. No regrets. flinch
I would use a A weight Rice or a A weight Green Mountain barrel, were it me. In fact, will be using a A weight .36 cal. Rice in 44" on a Tenn rifle soon.
I just built a Tenn in a Green Mtn. in 44" A weight in .40 cal. & I am very pleased with it.
