The reenactment of the battel of Blue Licks is this weekend.

This is considered the last battle of the AWI.

Both Boone and Kenton were present. Boone lost his oldest son there and 1/3 of the male population of Kentucky was killed in one afternoon.

We always have a good NA turnout since they won this one!

This is a KY State Park, without the restriction of a federal battlefield, therefore, we fight the battle on the exact location of the origional confrontation.

1 1/2 hours from Cinncanitti, 1 1/2 hours from Lexington. A good museum and a bueatiful site.

Come and visit.

Camps were down but participation was up! About everyone there fought in the battle. Lots of tourists watching, touring the camps.

Lots of NDNS and british rangers (ugly bunch if I ever saw ugly)

If I did pictures you wouldn't be able to see anything but "orbs". That's how it is with us ghosts.

Lots of orbs at Blue Licks. 80 of Kentucky's finest dead in 9 minutes.

I got my own unit now! Nephews and neices boyfriends and brother-in-laws an such. They said they'd fight if I provided the guns. I outfitted a squad and had a couple of guns left over! The girls said they wanted in on the fun next year since there were guns left! :rotf:

My wife says she is going to sponser an all women unit at the Boonesboro Seige this year if I'm loaning guns! They let the girls fight at the seige, since they actually did that back-in-the-day. Them women frontier fighters get real aggressive. They won't surrender no matter how ugly the Indians are!

'Scuse me for a while please, I got to go unload the truck.
