Battle of Newtown reenactment

Just to note, the Sunday battle at the reenactment of the Battle of Newtown will be held down in the valley on the site of the actual battle. Troops will be bussed down the hill from what I'm told. Newtown is just East of Elmira, NY, on Route 17. It was the major battle of the Sullivan & Clinton Campaign, and the reenactment is held every year in August at the Newtown Battlefield Park.
