This is what i will use for a small game hunting bag. It is the result of some T.L. scraps. I wish i had of put a little more thought into it before i started :shake: .The tickin is from an old feather bed it was stored away in a closet in my late mothers house.

Well, I don't know how you would improve on the bag much. Maybe you meant in planning for pockets, etc? Looks real good to me.

Mazo,Thats what i was talking about pockets ,attachment points, welts and such.

Capt. Fred, I'm not sure what kind of leather this is it came from a 5 lb bundle from Tandy. :shake: I had just enough to do the bag. This was my second attempt at a bag.I still have a long way to go,But it will do for what i bulit it for.
Thanks Swampy, Not anything like the fine work you do but i'm still an apprentice. I hope you are doing OK after the trip Congrats on the meat she will eat fine.

Next one, take a little more time and prepare your welts and ether make a football shaped gusset for the very bottom or stop and think about a full length gusset and how to shape that. Takes a little longer to build the bag but you'll be pleased with it I promise you will.
