I recently bought a 12 ga muzzleloader over and under shotgun, I need to get some new nipples for it as the one's that are in it plug up quite often. Doe's anyone know what I need to replace these? I haven't had much luck in finding out what I need . Thanks Any other info on this gun would be greatly appreciated also.

I believe they are metric, 6 mm .75 pitch. However, TOW will know.

Or you can take the nipple to a hdarware store and try out nuts close to that size on it. That will give you the correct threads, and you can order nipples for it.

Those are supposed to be nice guns!

The gun was made by Beretta and called the "Tricentennial Model 100",since they've been making guns before the U.S existed, as such. Friend had one and may still. We got good service with 90 grains of FFg and 1-1/4 ounces of shot for good bird hunting...upland birds that is, never tried it out on duck or geese, though it would probably perform well over decoys. It also handled a .690" round ball and .015" Ox-Yoke lubed patch over 80 grains of FFg or Fg, the latter generated a bit less kick. Gun is fairly well stocked for pleasure shooting and having two chances is a nice feeling. The PRB loads would be a nice woods load for deer and black bear if you feel like life is too dull!

I had one until it was stolen many years ago. A very nice handling gun, and easy to carry.
The only issue I had was the bottom barrel would occasionally fail to fire due to the long path the flame must follow from nipple to powder. Of course, back then I used only Pyrodex, so that may have added to the problem. I wonder if using BP would completely eliminate the problem with the lower barrel?
I don't remember having any issues that I would attribute to the original nipples (I never changed them out).
I would happily buy one again if I found one in great condition.
Regards,
Mike
