I have been buying my flints from TOW.You get your share of Skinny thin ones and Humpbacks from them though.Where is the best place to buy Black English Flints?

I called Cain's and stuckout ... no 7/8 flints left (and this was 1-2 months ago!) and other sizes were extremely limited.

Everyone has gone up ... about 50% ... RE Dave & TOW ...

I just got an order from TOW the price had not gone up. The fellow at TOW did say the new owner of Fuller is going to up the price.

The quality of the new Fuller flints is getting worse. :cursing: I also understand that they Fuller is only shipping about 10% of what they did before. Too bad looks like another fine old product is going away.

Someone else will step in and take his place..

Have you tried the white Missouri flints from Rich Pierce? They work great!

I get my BEF from dixie by the dozen,"cost 17$$ I believe" Most are very good, but of coarse I always get a couple big ol hump backs and tiny slivers.

Those missourie flints are good aswell, cant beat the price.
