Gentlemen, I find myself in need of another shot flask after the leather on my latest one has given up the ghost.

The question is who makes a shot flask that is durable enough to last while getting used and abused.

Thanks!

How about replacing the leather on your shot flask? I would do this especially if you like your original style flask. Suede leather is cheap.

A shot flask must be made from leather and not horn because if you are a game shooter horn is too noisy and game make a early escape . Berretta supply one with their over and under which is made of soft leather . The best ones are the original ones made by Dixon and Hawksley of which there are plenty at auctions but need examine to see that the stitching is still OK and the measure is in tacked

For those who like the so called 'Irish charger' the Italian ones have good tops but the tubeiler bag is useless as it swings down level .But if a' Y' shaped tubeiler bag is made & OP shops have lots of the leather to suit and fixed to a belt you get the charger handily under your arm and not slide about .I did this and find it fine .
