Once I have my rifle sighted in my favorite plinking target is the old reliable tin can. It moves around giving different shots at varying distances and is reactive when hit. Just be sure to pick up your target when finished shooting.

For plinking, cookies make good targets.

They bust into a thousand pieces and the birds and other critters will clean them up for you after you leave. :)
 
Ah man, that's a waste of good cookies. LOL! Reminds me of my son's Cub Scout pack shooting sling-shots and using dog food as ammo.
 
Saw a groove in a 2x and line up Ritz-type crackers - far cheaper than cookies! :wink:
