I shot as well. I am not sure. I too left sort of early as well. I do know that I am in no danger of breaking any records.

I was a tad out of shape.Found that out going up the hill. Sweated up and had to take my fleece coat off. Then going down hill, had a snowshoe malfunction. I do believe that I will get a set of those Boutin bindings Then the first station, missed two shots. Then off we go. Another snowshoe malfunction and while attempting to deal with it, my caplock fell in the snow. So that meant the next station to have two misfires. I had to put powder under the nipple. Went off. At that point, two more snowshoe malfunctions. But at least it was going down hill and in more or less a straighter line.

To sum it all up, it was a ton of fun and I hope to attend the Manchester Vermont biathalon on the last weekend in Febuary.

Great shooting Big John!

I had to miss it :boohoo: due to family issues that came up before leaving on Sat morning. But ... I will be in VT on the 26/27th, staying over.

Send me any photos you have of the Dalton event ... I'll post them for you.

Mr. Bigbore,
Where can I find out more about these events. They said like a bunch of fun even when things go wrong. Is there a certain dress code or what Any websites I can go to to learn more As I am new to this, any help would be much obliged. I don`t want to show up and be turned away. Thats one of the reasons I haven`t as of yet made any rondys. I want to go and when I get there, be able to buy some more period stuff but I need a sense of what I have to have first just to get in the door.
