Musketman,
I recently saw an article that I think you referenced, that told about a fella that took down a hippo, a cape buffalo, and almot a bull elephant with a BP rifle. I'd like to forward it to a buddy but, for the life of me, I can't find it again. Any ideas?

Val Forgett (founder of Navy Arms) was the big game hunter in that story. He was the first man in over 100 years to shoot the African Big Five of Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, and Cape Buffalo, with a single shot muzzleloader.

My link on that story is: http://www.muzzleloadingforum.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=13;t=000008

Their links to this story:

We owe much to people like Val Forgett and Jim Kirkland, they kept the spark of black powder glowing during a modern cartridge era.

Musketman,
Thanks. Your link was exactly the one I was looking for.
