Big Honkin Knife

I had this blade sitting around so I decided to make a knife out of it so I could practice my silver wire inlay some more.

It's a Bowie style blade 6 1/4 inches long. Sorry for the glare on the photo.

Thanks guys. I've got a fowler kit coming in a month or so and I'm dreaming of doing some wire inlay on it. I've been practicing on knives to build some confidence and have discovered that knife making is lots of fun too!

I've screwed up a couple and have just split the wood handle off and started again. Lots cheaper than screwing up a gun stock.
