My wife and I will be going to the S.W. Wyoming / western Colorado area from S. W. Missouri for several days for vacation. First stop will be the mountain man rendezvous near Lyman,CO. Not having been there before, is this a good one to go to? Just going as a spectator, and to shop. I hear it is a fairly large one. Would also like to hear any suggestions for other things to see and do in the general area (say, a 100 mile radius or so). We plan on dropping down into Utah on the way to southwestern Colorado for the Durango to Silverton Railroad ride. Am also interested in places to hike and maybe camp that have the best scenery and fewest people.Any advice would be appreciated.-Smoothshooter
